After tamping your coffee grounds, simply place the coffee puck diffuser screen on top of your coffee puck before inserting the portafilter into the coffee machine.
Puck screens help distribute water uniformly across the coffee puck, ensuring a more consistent extraction.
A powerful gush from the group head can sometimes cause channeling in your espresso shot, leading to uneven extraction. Pesado's coffee puck diffuser screen will help prevent channeling.
A coffee puck screen is an espresso metal filter or mesh that sits directly on top of your tamped coffee. The purpose of an espresso puck screen is to prevent channelling in the puck by distributing pressure across the entire surface.
Since the Pesado puck diffuser screen is 1.8mm thick, we recommend dosing less coffee as the coffee will expand and the puck screen might bend or hit the shower screen. Simply place the coffee puck diffuser screen on top of your coffee puck before inserting the portafilter into the machine to pour.
Simply rinse the puck diffuser screen after every use and when it needs a more thorough clean, soak it in cafetto or use a steam wand to clean it.

Great product. The water is flowing again. I added pics of the factory shower screen only after a few months of using it with a puck screen. This is easier to clean and the water comes out nice and even. I was having issues dialing in the perfect brew. Once I added the pesado, the creama is flowing. I definitely recommend getting this

The Pesado Puck Diffuser Screen is very stylish and sturdy. It helps to distribute water more evenly over the coffee grounds. I like that it keeps clean my Breville Bambino group head, and Pesado shower screen. Since I began to use it my espresso shots are smoother and more flavorful.

I did not know what is the difference among the other puck screens. It's different pattern topside and bottom side. It means it should be positioned top side with logo and bottom side is empty logo. I did not test with bottoms up but I surely can feel more wider on my hand through water flow on my hand with puck screen on. The edge is more soft compare to the other brand puck screen also. I recommend it, it's surely different.

I am still able to get the puck small enough to get it to fit in.
Certainly has changed the pour, but it made it much harder to get the basket into the group head.
Loving this puck diffuser, it has helped to keep cleaning efforts to a minimum. Not to mention pulling a better shot and aiding to more crema 🤙
