One-Of-A-Kind Spouted System
To start we have combined our signature spouted system with a patent pending base plate. This is where the magic starts!
Simply using the allen key that comes with the system, screw the nut through the plate attaching the spout. This creates your new hybrid spouted system.
Removable Spouted System – Easily detach the spout for quick cleaning and maintenance.
Precision Splitting Curve – Open spout designed to deliver an even split for balanced extractions.
Enhanced Coffee Flow – Machined inner surface improves coffee thickness and pour consistency.
Transform Naked To Spouted
Once you have attached the spouted system together, simply screw the plate up into the bottom of the naked portafilter. This will thread in and lock off your system.
To turn back into the naked portafilter simply unscrew the plate and boom! Back to naked.

This is the best crafted portafilter I've ever purchased! I purchased the simple black handle but now I'm tempted to get another in one of the handle combinations. To tell you how impressive this "work of art" is, a close friend saw it and remarked at the artistry of the portafilter spout and the quality of the craftsmanship. The quality Is top notch and the gauge of the metal is indestructible. This is professional grade equipment - Pesado in Spanish means heavy and also synonym of high-quality metal and fabrication. You are now my espresso equipment supplier. For people in the American continent - if you're wondering - shipping from Australia to the USA is excellent and easily tracked with the Australia post App. It takes less than 10 days once it's shipped. I've done it twice and they have the shipping process nailed-down. Also, communication with Customer Service was exceptional. They followed -up all my inquiries in time and they are very friendly people. Video shows how I make a simple "café estilo puertorriqueño", it is my staple every morning.
What a great upgrade. I was a bit skeptical ordering based on a Facebook add, but SO GLAD I DID. The High Diffusion Shower screen works 1000% better than the stock Breville. I always felt like the machine was fighting to make a good espresso. NOW, it works like a charm, and what a great extraction, with great look and soooo much better flavor. Big fan.
Also really love the portafilter. Just has a great feel to it and a really cool look with the wood.

Not that great. They dont tell you that you lose you auto tamping function. Bit of a downer they should let you know before buying since paying so much for product
I have a Breville Barista Express. I initially ordered an HD54 shower screen. When I installed it, I was so impressed that I immediately went back and ordered:

Hybrid Breville 54/58mm Portafilter - Versatile and Easy to Use
This overall setup has transformed my machine. I could not be happier.
I like it. My main objective is to use the spout and it doesn’t clean up on the underside as much as I’d like. I do not want to have to take it apart since it was somewhat difficult to assemble correctly.
Original delivery sent me the correct 54 mm portafilter but the hybrid screw in parts where for a 58mm. Contacted Pesado and they quickly shipped me the correct item. Waiting for that to arrive.
The handle has a nice, well-balanced weight (metal back/plastic front) and the head looks robust and premium. However, the assembly is incredibly frustrating—it's a delicate, annoying balance to align and tighten the spouts without overtightening the whole unit to the point of jamming. Additionally, it sits significantly lower than my stock Breville handle, forcing me to use completely different glassware for Americanos. It looks beautiful, but it misses the mark on day-to-day function.
Made no different to my espresso. In fact it made it taste worse. It works fine but the Bambino express was not designed for a high flow and the spout was easy to get stuck on the group handle.
This is such a well-made and well-designed portafilter and a world apart from the cheap crappy one that comes with a Breville machine. You can really feel the quality. I absolutely love using it and having the option of bare or spout. I hesitated about splurging on it but am so glad I did - it’s really a thing of beauty! Treat yourself - you won’t regret it!
