I’m using the bottomless group handle for my single shots on my 2 grp francino. Light weight and a nice feel about it. Great product.

First thing you notice is the weight. It is solid and feels great. Good fit for my nuova simonelli. Looks great too.

Produces a great high extraction espresso using the basket and portafilter combo. I needed to drop about 5/6 steps on my DF54 grinder (Was around 18 for a normal basket and around 13 for HE basket) Dripping like honey and forming a a uni funnel within about 7 seconds from start of flow. Perfect in my opinion.

Works well with LMLM and I like that it is stainless steel rather than chromed brass.

Weighty and durable. Feels premium and is a joy to twist in and out of the group head.

Messaged on Instagram as well as an Email to confirm fitting a Wendougee this is too small and turns almost 180 degrees VS 90 before it get's tight.

I put it on my Rancilio spx. It works, but you need to turn it really tight to ensure a tight fit with no leaks. Perhaps a newer gasket. Otherwise looks really sharp on my spx and compliments the silver and black look. Lots of heft to this portafilter.

It's a portafilter. Main reason I bought it was the the angle. Just ergos than the one that came with the Gaggia. Happy witht he purchase

Purchased to give extra clearance for cups. This was achieved, however the angled handle of the portafilter compared to the straight handle hits the rim of the cup, essentially making the setup worse than before. I purchased the HD basket as well, it knocked out to easy. Placed HD basket into stock portafilter and carried on. Shame.

The portafilter handle does not fit the Bezzera BZ group. The lip above the wings is too high by at least 1.5mm. No matter how much I attempted to convey this to customer service, I only got suggestions like, "we may need to file down the wings" or "we can also look at finding a thinner group seal...." I actually had a thinner gasket, which did make it fit a little better, but still not correctly. Customer service seemed alright with that even though I am not. This is unacceptable. This should work right out the box with a stock gasket. Also, I asked for pictures of what the portafilter body should look like because the one sent seems so far off that I think it is the wrong one, but my request was just ignored.

Middle of the road here, it works well, but when locking it to the group head it requires a LOT more movement. I’d seen from other reviews that it works best with the Pesado baskets, so i got one too (regrets there), but it works well with my VMS, IMS, and MHW baskets. The handle though… it’s beautiful! Compliments the machine, heavy, and feels extraordinarily well made!

I was gifted a Pesado HE basket, but it didn’t fit my ECM portafilter. I decided to order the Pesado portafilter, thinking it should solve the issue—and it did, perfectly. The basket and portafilter fit the group flawlessly, and the design looks absolutely stellar. While I usually prefer a heavier portafilter, the Pesado strikes an ideal balance between heft and lightness, maintaining a premium feel without being cumbersome. The lighter weight is actually a pleasant surprise, making workflow smoother without sacrificing quality. My old portafilter has now been officially retired!

The product is good but some areas are sharp around the edges (scratches your hand). Perhaps more attention could be paid into rounding off all the edges.

Great craftsmanship - real heavy. Goes nicely with my machine’s finish. The LM handle is maybe a bit big for the Nota’s grouphead (locks in at around 7 ‘o clock), maybe should have gone with the standard e61 handle.

Good body construction and finishing. Heavy Duty Portafilter. I only give four stars because they sent me a wrong size of filter basket. ‍♀️ And doesn’t fit perfectly in my machine at the 6’oclock position. However one of their Customer Agent name Daniel was very helpful patient. They sent me a new “head” and correct size of the filter basket. (Changing to a thinner gasket on the group head) It’s still works great and makes a great espresso. ☕️

The portofilter looks great and is the best quality Ive seen, however it does not fit my standard E61 grouphead. Going to have to sell it along with a HE basket. Both which I unfortunately never used.

Solid quality. Challenge is tamping station given the weight of the handle seasaws rather than balanced. I use a low one where the handle rests on the mat so that works for me.

Love my hybrid portafilter from Pesado. Wouldn’t complain if it was a little heavier, but I did go for the plastic and honeycomb. Like the ability to chuck the spouts on, but I mostly run it naked for scale space and espresso temp straight into glass. Buy once, cry once!

Love it!!! Especially the variety to switch between bottomless and normal Portafilter. If you have screw everything up once, it’s where easy to switch between.

I love the look but the fit is not good with my LM Mini Linea. It is much too tight with my LM basket and even worse with your basket.

The orientation of the screw in piece at the bottom doesn't line up to horizontal for the dual pour spots. Have I set this up wrong somehow?

I love it, very high quality and the flexibility to go spouted or bottomless is great. I will admit however that I can't bring myself to cover up the HE filter basket.

It's really nice, feels very good. But, it's heavy, really heavy. I guess that's where they get the name "pesado". I had to modify my portafilter holder to be able to stand up straight with the weight of the portafilter.

Stunner. Elevates my coffee station and acts as an eye catcher or even a work of art. Works well, no complaints at all. Negative: after tamping I get distracted and just stare at it. Great job Pesado!

This thing is probably my favorite piece of coffee gear I’ve bought. My cups are cool, but the Pesado products feel like they are indestructible. I’ve had such joy making espresso daily since I’ve purchased this. I highly recommend it to all espresso machine owners. These will elevate your espresso making experience in a big way, both visually and with results. 10/10 would buy again.

The quality is not just good, it's superb!! It's absolutely tank. I'm super happy with my new tools, the thickness of the basket is just bulletproof. I chose a hybrid portafilter because i drink more coffee than my wife, and it's very comfortable to switch between spouted and naked, genius! I believe I am not the only one wondering : which portafilter model is best suited for my machine ? There are two main models available : • LM 6mm, generally designed for La Marzocco machines but also compatible with E61 groups. • E61 5mm, specifically designed for E61 groups. However, the question remains : Which portafilter is the best fit ? I imagine many people share this question. That’s why I decided to write this detailed review, allowing you to judge for yourself and select the model that best suits your machine. ____________________________________ The Comparison Thanks to the kindness and professionalism of PESADO, I had the opportunity to test both models : • LM 6mm • E61 5mm I also used different filters to refine the comparison. ____________________________________ Observations From the photos I’ve shared, you can see that filters significantly impact the portafilter’s insertion depth. Here are my findings with my Rocket Espresso R58, equipped with an E61 group that is almost new (the machine is only a year old and in excellent condition) : • With the LM 6mm portafilter, the insertion depth is only 3 mm, even when using a thin-walled basket. This is extremely shallow and makes the LM 6mm model completely incompatible with my machine. • In contrast, the E61 5mm portafilter fits perfectly, providing a solid and reliable connection. ____________________________________ My Recommendation • If your machine is equipped with an older and heavily worn E61 group: the LM 6mm model may be the better choice. • If your machine has a newer and less worn E61 group: you should absolutely go for the E61 5mm model, as insufficient insertion depth could cause issues. To provide further clarity, I also measured the thickness of the LM 6mm and E61 5mm portafilters. These measurements will allow you to compare them with your machine’s original portafilter and assess how well they will fit your E61 group. ____________________________________ In Conclusion The choice of portafilter depends on the wear and condition of your E61 group. I hope this review helps you better understand the differences between the models and choose the one that perfectly suits your needs. Additional Tip I’d also like to point out something that might help you decide if you need basket. Some people one the web compare the PCL-C to the PESADO HE baskets. Honestly, and this is not about promoting PESADO, the PESADO HE is clearly superior to the PCL-C. The PCL-C has a significant issue: the edges are so sharp and angular that it’s nearly impossible to fit the basket into a portafilter. It’s a real hassle, often taking several minutes to get it in place. On the other hand, I achieve equally good—if not better—results with the PESADO HE, and its ergonomic design makes assembly and disassembly much easier. So, if you’re hesitating between these two basket models, I strongly recommend the PESADO HE, if only for its superior usability and ergonomic advantage.

I am generally satisfied with the appearance, feel, etc. However, the unfortunate thing is that when using a bottomless roll, the threads are not smooth, so when wiping with linen or a towel, the fabric gets caught. It would be nice to be more careful with the finishing touches

Doesn't fit perfectly in my machine at the 6'oclock position but when talking to the manufacturer they were very helpful about it. Reassured that it is impairitive for it to function properly but gave good suggestions for solutions (changing to a thinner gasket on the group head).

I used the AI tool to get the right accessories. Unfortunately the AI bot suggested that I get with this specific one: „the Portafilter with a Double Spout for Espresso Machines La Marzocco / E61 / Black Full Pom“ but with a basket from pesado included it doesn’t fit into my Rocket R58. Without a basket it fits. With a basket there is no chance. Since I live in Germany there is not even chance of sending it back. I paid so much for the shipping from Australia and in addition to that a tax for importing into the European Union… so yeah -> not good.

No more uneven pours! The original Breville portafilter was so frustrating, consistently resulting in uneven pours from the dual spouts. It wasn’t due to channeling. It was that damn plastic insert and poor machining of the port dividing the coffee stream. The Pesado dual spout portafilter solved the problem instantly and works brilliantly. Quality machining and a superior design for collecting the coffee flow then separating it into two streams was like chalk and cheese. I can’t praise the Pesado highly enough.

Bought the EX54HD, a portafilter and a basket for my missus for Christmas and she loves it. Fitting the screen+little additional plate was super easy, and the portafilter+basket went together no fuss as well. No major adjustments were needed to get the right extraction pressure either. And it all apparently pulls a fantastic cup of coffee!

I have purchased two items from Pesdao: Diffusion Shower Screen, which is extremely well made, and I am very happy with. Based on the quality of the shower screen, I have also ordered the Portafilter, but was a bit disappointed with it. The plastic part of the handle looks very cheap, to the point that I covered it with a 3M 33 electrical tape to make it look better.

I purchased a Breville Bambino Plus and love it, although I didn't like the portafilter that came with it. It has plastic in it, does a poor job of dividing a 2 shot pull, and, if you wish to upgrade the filter baskets (e.g. IMS) the fit is so tight you have to pry them out with a tool. This Pesado with a double spout is like night and day. Fits perfectly in the machine, easily accepts my 3 baskets, and I can remove those baskets easily with just my fingers. And the double shots divide quite evenly. If I were to question any aspect, I'm not sure why it needs to be so heavy.
