Overview
Elevate your extractions with the High Diffusion Extraction Bundle, a complete kit engineered for accuracy, flexibility, and refined flavor.
At the heart is our one-of-a-kind Breville 54mm HD high diffusion shower screen. This HD Espresso Shower Screen is designed for precision and consistency, eliminating the main issues causing irregular extractions.
Uneven water distribution has always been an issue when trying to achieve consistent extractions, this can be caused by the irregular water flow path through mesh shower screens, smaller surface area coverage and uneven puck infusion.
Utilizing 18 channels, this HD espresso shower can target the exact spots of every extraction, resulting in consistent water flow between every shot.
Combined with the unique feature of the outer channels running all the way to the edge of the espresso shower screen, controlling water flow to target the entire puck bed right to the basket edge, giving us complete control over our water diffusion for every shot.
Our 2.0 sets now come with a free 0.2mm contact mesh. This sits on top of the puck to retain its structure, further reducing channeling and improving diffusion. Bonus: it keeps your HD shower screen cleaner for longer, so there's less maintenance between pulls.
Complementing the shower screen is our 18g Electro Polished filter basket. These basket filters have been developed to make the most of dark to medium roast profile coffees, where the prominent tasting notes are richer and full, coffees that are designed to be a classic black coffee or mixed with milk.
These filter baskets are electro-polished to increase the smoothness in all surfaces, including inside the holes to increase the forgiveness of use.

Breville 54mm Extraction Bundle
EP 54mm Electro
Polished Basket
These coffee machine basket filters are electro-polished, a procedure that can polish areas that are inaccessible by other polishing methods. This creates a clean, smooth surface and reduces the friction that the liquid has on the metal surface. This will help the coffee travel through the holes and on the sides of the basket filter.

S
I’ve been able to get consistent espresso shots from my Barista Express Impression for the first time since installing the replacement shower screen and using the new basket and puck screen.
I can properly enjoy my coffee now.
M
The diffuser seems to work as advertised, but the basket isn't going to fit anything I have. As you can see in the picture my basket fits inside the basket in the bundle. I should have just bought the diffuser.
t
great product

Must have if you want to make decent coffee from home !

Delivery was quick, ordering was easy.
The shower screen however doesn’t fit the Breville express. It doesn’t allow the portafilter to turn and lock.
J
Better flow, better coffee. (Okay, I have been a coffee addict for 45+ years now and this took the experience up a notch on my machine.
I
Its nice looking but it didn’t do any difference when it comes to coffee pour
C
My Breville 54mm Extraction Bundle has improved the extraction process heaps. I now get even flow through the grinds, and the end result is much smoother.
B
Just another internet scam! Squirts even more than the original screen and the basket is indistinguishable from the normal one
D
An upgrade totally worth the price.
Force multiplier.
H
Its good
J
Purchased this for my husband, and he was in disbelief as to how something so simple can improve his whole coffee experience. Would repurchase again if we changed coffee machines.
R
I don't normally write reviews, but: WOW! I added this to my barista express and I was surprised at how noticeable the difference was. I was already using a shower screen, but this one is much higher quality. The combination of the distribution plate, high quality basket, and shower screen have been pulling some extremely high quality and repeatable shots.
PS: There's absolutely zero reason you needed to make the distribution plate so beautiful, but it absolutely speaks to the quality and attention to detail.
E
This is the first upgrade to my Breville espresso machine. The quality of the shots I pull have greatly improved.
C
great upgrade i put it on a brand new out of the box barista express impress and water was squirting out at the back so I put my stock one back on not happy I wasted my money on something that fits wrong

N
Besides a more consistent extraction, we noticed a sweet tone to the coffee that was not previously present.
M
It's a great product I noticed a difference immediately It's definitely an improvement to the standard set up
J
There is no noticable improvement in extraction quality despite the high cost.
C
Good
B
Coffee taste great better water flow
K
As described. Can’t wait to use them

Purchased this set for a Breville Infuser. To be honest was a bit skeptical. Took seconds to install the diffusion plate. And the first shot I pulled was objectively better. Flavours were clearer. Genuinely surprised. Great upgrade for not much coin! Will hold off getting a “better machine” for longer!

E
It seems to be working and no issues with taste or development
Not a true problem solver with the residual water, but the puck releases complete and is not wet.
D
Made such a difference to the flavour and texture. Now would love the whole barrister set to complete the whole look
J
I had to swap back out the basket...way to difficult to get the coffee puck back out each time. It just holds on too tight vs the standard Breville. As for the using the screen too, a bit of a pain and I find I just skip using that. The head replacement itself is just ok in the end...I only notice a slight improvement myself. Also, I expected the 'plastic' part to be part of the replacement but on Brasita Express models, that plastic part stays in the unit.
Just ok in the end, 3 out of 5 stars. Not sure that I would purchase again but not returning it either.
H
Love from first coffee ☕, it's changed my coffee to amazing coffee, love every coffee every day now, ☕❤️
R
Outstanding Item.
T
Love this combo, my coffee has never tasted better and my machine is working better than even.
J
Looks like it’s extracting more evenly!
