This is well made and works great. I noticed the difference on the first pull. During the infusion I could see that I got a more even and complete sateration across the filter basket.
This thing is probably my favorite piece of coffee gear I’ve bought. My cups are cool, but the Pesado products feel like they are indestructible. I’ve had such joy making espresso daily since I’ve purchased this. I highly recommend it to all espresso machine owners. The combination of my new impact-gravity distributor and High Diffusion Shower Screen from Pesado, my coffee’s are consistently mouth watering.
The High Extraction Filter basket is really effective at extracting more from my coffee. I had to go a little finer with my grinder to maintain the correct extraction ratio and that meant the water was in contact with more of the coffee. I'm really pleased with the result in the cup as it has improved the flavour profile of my coffee. Teamed up with the shower screen, I have a winning combination.
